By the late 1920s, stamped steel "Dreadnaught" ends were extending the life of many older single sheathed, outside-braced wood box cars. Found everywhere, in all kinds of service, these cars hauled everything from manufactured goods and machinery to bagged feed. Many of these steam-era veterans lasted into the early 70s. This is a limited edition one-time run of these roadnumbers. Features of this model include:
Wood running boards
Ribbed steel roof
Correct 33" turned metal wheelsets
Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers
