As an official Amtrak licensee of the Acela Express train, this Spectrum set offers fine detail and great performance. The Acela Express features dual locomotives (one powered, one non-powered) that can reach scale speeds of 150mph. The Acela Express set comes complete with first class passenger car; end business class passenger car; Cafe Acela car; a 81 x 45" 205.7 x 112.5cm nickel silver E-Z Track oval with 22" 55cm radius curves, power pack and speed controller. Other features include warm white headlights and ditch lights, an internal switch to allow operation from live catenary (available separately), lighted car interiors and details, tilting car chassis for smooth operation on curves and etched-metal brad details where appropriate.
